Jonathan Stoian Bio

Jon Stoian handles a wide variety of corporate finance, business transactions (mergers and acquisitions/private equity) and capital markets matters. He represents asset-based lenders, mezzanine lenders, financial institutions and other business creditors in a full range of transactions, policy and strategies. He currently serves as counsel to lenders with offices in Baltimore, Philadelphia, New York, Chicago, Charlotte, Atlanta and Columbus, Ohio. Jon drafts, negotiates and advises U.S. and non-U.S. banks and other institutional lenders in connection with senior secured and mezzanine loans and other financings, restructurings and workouts. He also represents corporations and other business entities as borrowers in these transactions. Jon has extensive experience in loan workouts, troubled credits and restructurings, which often entail complicated and sensitive negotiations, document preparation, and advising on workout and collection strategies and tactics.
