Howard Camhi is a partner in M&R’s Los Angeles office, where he is a member of the firm’s Bankruptcy and Restructuring Practice Group. In that capacity, Howard represents an impressive roster of commercial clients in complex bankruptcy, corporate restructuring (both in and out of court), distressed asset, acquisition and disposition, and related litigation matters. In terms of his corporate bankruptcy expertise, Howard has represented debtors, creditors’ committees, trustees, and both secured and unsecured creditors in bankruptcy courts nationwide. In doing so, he has been able to recover millions of dollars for individuals, businesses, and institutions. In addition, Howard is sought after for his work in state and federal receiverships and assignments for the benefit of creditors and has been appointed as a Federal Equity Receiver in matters brought by the Federal Trade Commission and Consumer Finance Protection Bureau. Beyond his bankruptcy and receivership work, Howard also handles cases involving secured transactions in real and personal property.
