Jeffrey Weingart Bio

Jeffrey Weingart is a Partner at MSF and Co-Chairs the firm’s Intellectual Property Group. Mr. Weingart provides intellectual property and technology-related legal advice to clients in a broad range of industries with respect to both litigation and transactional matters. Mr. Weingart regularly represents clients in disputes, litigations, arbitrations and related workouts involving all aspects of intellectual property, including matters arising from the development, commercialization and misappropriation of technology, content and other assets covered by copyright and trade secret laws, patents, trademarks, and other statutory and common law constructs. In addition, Mr. Weingart regularly advises clients with regard to intellectual property and technology issues arising from a wide range of transactional matters, including those involving licenses of intellectual property, software and other technologies; technology development and outsourcing agreements; sales, distribution and royalty agreements; corporate M&A transactions; and joint ventures.
