Laura Giesbrecht Bio

Laura Giesbrecht maintains a growing business law practice focused on mergers and acquisitions. She also advises on matters relating to negotiated transactions, fund formation, corporate finance, corporate reorganizations and complex commercial transactions. With a wide range of sector-specific knowledge, Laura works with clients in a variety of areas, including investment funds and asset management, private equity, venture capital, financial services, information technology, pharmaceuticals and manufacturing. Prior to joining McMillan, Laura practised at another firm and served as corporate counsel at a leading Canadian financial institution.
