Bio

Amir Dinur practices in the areas of real estate and corporate law, and is admitted to both the New York and the Israel Bar. His practice includes complex commercial real estate transactions, residential, office and retail leasing, acquisition and construction financing, and the purchase and sale of residential and commercial real property. Amir advises and represents, amongst others, both real estate developers and investors with respect to the formation, management and operation of legal entities for investment in, and development of, real estate projects. In Israel, Amir had practiced with several prominent law firms and served as general counsel of a public holdings company engaged in the fields of real estate and infrastructure. Prior to joining Mclaughlin and Stern, Amir had served as general counsel for a Manhattan based real estate development company. Amir graduated from Columbia University with an LL.M (Masters of Laws) degree (with honors as a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar), and with an LL.B., magna cum laude (ranked 2nd/140 in class), and a B.A. in Government, Strategy and Diplomacy, magna cum laude from the Interdisciplinary Center (IDC), Herzlia, Israel, where he received the Gerald B. Cramer Scholarship for academic excellence and outstanding community leadership (awarded to 2 students from the whole class). Born and raised in Israel, Amir served for three and a half years in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) as a Platoon Sergeant in a special infantry forces unit, where he received Exemplary Soldier and Commander Honors for his service. He was a Co-Founder of The Homeless Department Legal Aid- Tel Aviv Municipality, Israel, where he volunteered and recruited young attorneys to provide weekly legal assistance and advice to the homeless. Amir is fluent in English and Hebrew.
