Christopher Dube is a shareholder and director of the firm and a member of the firm’s Corporate Department. Christopher works closely with the firm’s trust administration group counseling administrative and independent trustees on a variety of matters including structuring ownership of trust assets, reviewing investment documents agreements, and engaging in transactions involving the sale, lease, or in-kind distribution of trust assets. Christopher has also assisted clients in establishing regulated trust companies in New Hampshire as well as high net worth individuals, families, and their advisors in forming and maintaining New Hampshire Civil Foundations and private trust companies in New Hampshire. Christopher also represents a variety of domestic and international manufacturing and service businesses, from start-up and emerging companies to industry leaders, and counsels his clients across a broad spectrum of business law areas relating to business formation and governance, succession planning, creditors’ rights, distressed asset acquisition, and out-of-court business restructuring and liquidation. He collaborates with clients on structuring, negotiating, and documenting commercial transactions and a variety of contractual relationships. His past experience leading a food manufacturing company gives him unique insight into the business and regulatory challenges facing small businesses and entrepreneurs. Christopher joined the firm in 1998. He received his B.A. from Middlebury College and his J.D. from Cornell Law School. Prior to law school, Christopher worked in Washington, D.C. in a variety of capacities, including positions with the Department of the Interior and with the White House during the administration of George H.W. Bush. Christopher is a member of the firm’s Legal Opinion Committee and serves as the Chair of the firm’s Ethics Committee.
