Julie Robinson Bio

Julie is a Board Member and Partner in our Halifax office, with a practice focused on Canadian and cross-border corporate finance, securities and mergers and acquisitions. Julie acts for companies in relation to public and private securities offerings, stock exchange listings, reverse take-overs, plans of arrangement and other merger and acquisition transactions, as well as corporate governance issues. She advises public companies on securities regulatory compliance matters, including continuous disclosure obligations, mining disclosure standards and stock exchange rules. She also works extensively with startups, technology companies and investors on venture capital and other private financings, merger and acquisition transactions and commercial agreements. Julie is recognized by Best Lawyers™ in Canada for her practice in Corporate Law, Venture Capital Law, Securities Law and Mergers & Acquisitions Law, and was named Best Lawyers® “Lawyer of the Year” in 2022 for Mergers and Acquisitions Law. She is also featured in the Canadian Legal Lexpert® Directory for her practice in Corporate Finance & Securities and Mergers & Acquisitions.
