Alex Barnes Bio

Alex has a broad corporate/commercial practice, with an emphasis on mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and corporate governance planning. She has acted as counsel for both buyer and seller on all scales of transactions, and appreciates the importance of representing her clients’ interests throughout the transaction. Alex also advises on corporate finance and venture capital matters and helps entrepreneurs and startups navigate the corporate commercial issues they face. An extension of her corporate structuring practice, Alex advises clients with respect to the tax considerations for buying or selling a business, including reorganizations and transaction structure.
