Bio

Adel Gonczi is a fully bilingual Partner in our Moncton office with a practice focused on banking and financial services, commercial financing and secured transactions, and corporate and commercial real estate. Her diverse experience allows her to encompass all aspects of real estate including the management of large real estate projects. She has extensive experience negotiating and drafting contracts, transactional agreements as well as other commercial agreements and has assisted clients in various corporate and commercial transactions including share and asset purchase and sale transactions and P3 projects. Adel has acted for borrowers and lenders in secured financings and regularly represents financial institutions in foreclosure matters. She also supports asset recovery work. Before joining McInnes Cooper in 2010, Adel articled under Chief Justice Drapeau at the New Brunswick Court of Appeal and practiced in a medium-sized law firm in Moncton. She has also worked as a Senate Page and as a Guide Interpreter at Rideau Hall while completing her undergraduate studies at the University of Ottawa.
