Rudy Aguilar advises clients in Louisiana and the Southeast on a full range of corporate transactions including commercial financing, real estate development, and general business matters. He advises corporate, business, and medical provider clients in connection with mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and contractual matters. Rudy counsels real estate developers and owners in the negotiation, documentation, acquisition, financing, and operational issues of various mixed-use developments including hotel, retail, and condominium developments. He advises on industrial development projects and counsels industrial businesses regarding operational issues after startup. Rudy also provides counsel on insurance regulatory matters for clients throughout the United States. He represents individuals and entities in the acquisition and formation of health, property, casualty, and life insurance companies and represents insurers and insurance agencies in regulatory, corporate, and financial matters. Rudy advises automobile manufacturers and heavy equipment manufacturers with respect to ancillary insurance products sold to customers, including handling licensing, regulatory issues, and reinsurance programs through captive insurers.
