Companies, investors, and entrepreneurs turn to Matteo Daste for his experience as a veteran Silicon Valley lawyer providing strategic advice and finding creative solutions for clients. Matteo has represented dozens of domestic and foreign clients in corporate and venture finance, governance, organizational and operational matters, as well as mergers, acquisitions, and reorganizations. Businesses and investors seek Matteo’s advice on a variety of cross-border transactions between Europe and the United States, primarily in the technology sector, as well as in the evolving digital asset/cryptocurrency and fintech sectors. Matteo’s experience also includes representing a variety of issuers, including financial institutions, in US capital markets transactions. His experience with securities regulation and emerging markets has led him to speaking engagements across the US and Italy, from Stanford University to the Italian Parliament. He is also a fellow of the Intentac International Entrepreneurship Academy of the Jönköping University in Sweden. Matteo is a founder of the Business Association Italy America (BAIA) and was on the founding board of the Mind The Bridge Foundation. He currently sits on the board of directors of Italian Community Services, a 100-year-old nonprofit organization based in San Francisco.
