Hazem El Guindi is a Partner at Matouk Bassiouny & Hennawy and a member of the Corporate, M&A and Capital Markets practice groups. He also heads the firm’s sports sector. He also heads the firm’s sports sector. With over twelve years of experience in practice, he has worked on a wide range of complex mergers and acquisitions, capital market projects, and routine corporate work representing a diverse number of clients, entrepreneurs, industry pioneers, top tier corporate companies. Hazem has participated in several landmark IPOs and M&A transactions in Egypt including Juhayna, Amer Group, Edita, Obourland and Rameda. His work included attending meetings with EGX and FRA. Hazem’s practice focuses on mergers acquisitions, sports, IPOs and capital markets transactions including due diligence, restructuring, drafting and negotiating Share Purchase Agreements, Shareholders’ Agreements, Escrow Agreements, and their execution. He also handles all aspects of registration and listing companies on the EGX.
