Alan Burns is a Partner in our Financial Services team. Having joined the firm in 2017 after ten years with another leading commercial law firm, Alan has advised domestic and international lenders and borrowers in a wide-ranging finance law practice, with a particular focus on corporate finance and development finance. He has also gained significant experience in transactions involving the pharmaceutical, financial services, construction, agri-food, technology, aviation, motor and other sectors. Alan has frequently advised on matters involving alternative lending structures, such those involving investment funds and those involving loan origination SPVs, as well as acting for liquidators in court-supervised corporate insolvencies.
