As a partner in the Firm’s Impact Investing and Community Development practice, Corenia Burlingame represents major industry players in structuring and closing the financing of tax-motivated investments, including new construction and preservation deals financed through low-income housing tax credits and the rehabilitation of historic buildings financed with historic rehabilitation investment tax credits. Corenia’s practice includes assisting clients investing in scattered-site portfolios of tax credit projects, workouts of troubled tax credit deals, year 15 issues, unwinds of historic credit and New Markets Tax Credits financings. She also has experience resyndicating existing tax credit projects and has worked on numerous deals that pair low-income housing tax credits with other state and federal incentives.
