Paulo Henrique Carvalho Pinto is specialist in corporate matters, with focus on structuring business such as sale and purchase of assets and corporate interests, corporate reorganizations, spin-offs, takeovers, transformations and mergers, and legal due diligence. He further engages activities in applied corporate law, estate planning and in the provision of legal assistance on international investments and its formalization and registry before the Brazilian Central Bank. A large part of his practice encompasses the provision of assistance in structuring, reviewing terms and implementing merger and acquisition transactions, corporate consultancies of closely and publicly-held companies, establishment and negotiation of joint venture terms, up-front investments of international companies in Brazil, structuring and implementations of individuals’ succession and estate protection. Pinto has previous experience in areas of knowledge such as security and services, cement industry, mining, food and beverage, information and telecomm law, software, education, electronic products and lighting, resins and cellulose, and agribusiness.
