Adriana Pallis has been a partner in the Corporate Law practice since 2001, having been the director of the M&A group from 2015 to 2018. She is now a member of the Board and of the firm's Social Responsibility and Pro Bono Committee. Adriana specializes in Corporate Law, corporate governance, securities regulation and M&A involving private and listed companies, as well as international transactions. She has recognized experience in structuring and implementing highly complex corporate reorganizations, equity investments, different acquisition structures and in takeover bid procedures, as well as in providing legal advice in representing companies and investors in administrative proceedings and in consultations before the Securities and Exchange Commission. Adriana also acts in the structuring of businesses and in the creation of companies, joint ventures, consortia, associations and other forms of business, as well as in the provision of consultancy on foreign investments in Brazil. She acted in the most relevant privatization processes of the 1990s, such as CPFL, Eletropaulo (both in the energy sector), Vale (mining sector) and Telebrás (telecommunications sector).
