Bio

Javier Petrantonio has been the firm’s managing partner since 2011. He specializes in general commercial law and litigation, with particular emphasis on corporate mergers and acquisitions. He has advised clients in transactions of a wide range of industries; including cable operators, open-to-air television, retail, fishing, hospitality, health, pharmaceutical and fertilizer. He is a member of boards and oversight commissions of well-known national and in-ternational companies. He is actively involved in non-profit organizations, notably his role as Vice-President of the Bar Association of the City of Buenos Aires (2010-2014) and as a member of the Ruling Council of Universidad de Buenos Aires Law School (2003-2005, 2009-2011). He is also a member of the International Bar Association, where he was Co-Chair of the Regulation of Lawyers' Compliance Committee during 2018 and 2019 and where he currently is the Latin American Regional Forum Liaison Officer for the Law Firm Management Committee.
