Nis Carstens is an M&A and Private Equity partner specialising in domestic and cross-border M&A work, he advises financial sponsors, corporate clients and individuals across a wide range of industries. JUVE, the leading German legal directory, regularly lists Nis as a frequently recommended lawyer for private equity and M&A work. Before joining Lupp + Partner in January 2018, Nis was a partner at BDO Legal and co-head of its Hamburg office for several years. Prior to this, he was a senior/principal associate in the corporate/M&A practice of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, where he spent more than seven years.
