Christopher Kellett is a private equity and M&A partner based in our Frankfurt office. Previously of magic circle firms such as Clifford Chance, where he spent over 20 years as a partner and head of the German private equity practice, and more recently as a partner at Linklaters, Christopher is one of Germany’s leading private equity lawyers. He has extensive experience in advising major private equity investors on a wide variety of transactions and investments throughout Europe (particularly the DACH region), CEE and the Nordic regions, in sectors including, business services, chemicals, consumer and retail, financial services, healthcare, industrials and TMT. Christopher has been recognized for many years as a leading private equity and M&A lawyer in Germany in rankings such as JUVE and Chambers Europe. Most recently, Euromoney’s IFLR1000 recognizes him as a market leader for private equity, while Handelsblatt (Germany’s leading business newspaper) named him Lawyer of the Year for Private Equity 2019 as well as ranking him among the best corporate and M&A lawyers in 2023. Christopher is registered with the Frankfurt bar association (Rechtsanwaltskammer) and is admitted as a solicitor in England and Wales and in Ireland.
