ARTHUR M. OWENS concentrates his practice in the areas of professional liability defense, complex commercial litigation, federal practice and appellate matters. Mr. Owens has successfully represented numerous high profile clients in nationally publicized cases. He represents defendants and plaintiffs in class action, complex personal injury and product liability matters. Mr. Owens has extensive experience in litigation concerning emerging technologies, including e-commerce, online search and internet marketing issues. Mr. Owens also has an established background in e-discovery and complex data management issues. Mr. Owens joined Lum, Drasco & Positan, LLC in September 2006, following an appellate level judicial clerkship with Clarkson S. Fisher, Jr., J.A.D. After seven years with the Firm, Mr. Owens was named partner, as of January 2014. Mr. Owens is active in the Essex County, New Jersey State Bar Associations, American Bar Association, Section of Litigation and has lectured and published articles on a variety of legal topics and disciplines. In 2016, Mr. Owens was appointed as a Trustee of the Essex County Bar Association.
