Giorgio Groppi mainly advises on corporate law and financial markets, particularly specializing in capital markets transactions, mergers, acquisitions and other extraordinary transactions concerning listed companies, private equity and joint ventures. He also has extensive experience in real estate, especially with regard to the incorporation of real estate trusts and acquisitions and transfers of real estate portfolios. In 2002 he graduated with honours in Economics and Company Law from the Università Commerciale Luigi Bocconi di Milano, and in 2004 he graduated with honours in Law from the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore di Piacenza. He then obtained in 2009 a LL.M., Master of Laws from New York University. He has been a member of the Milan Bar since 2007 and a member of the New York Bar since 2009.
