Bio

Willem Jarigsma, attorney at law, is partner in the Amsterdam office of Loyens & Loeff. Willem is a finance lawyer with over 25 years of experience in the firm. He is member of the Private Equity team. Willem’s background is in Banking & Finance. He works mainly on financing transactions, with a special focus on asset based lending (ABL) and structured finance, particularly securitisation transactions. Willem has been with the firm since 1993 and became partner in 2002. Until 2014, he headed the Banking & Finance pratice group. From 2014 until 2018, he was the firm’s managing partner. He started in the Rotterdam office and has also worked in the Singapore and Amsterdam offices. Willem chairs the firm's Opinion Committee.
