J.A. Sandy Nixon is a founding partner who leads the firm’s Business and Finance practice. His client work focuses on mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, and tax and succession planning. Within corporate finance, he advises both lenders and borrowers on financing strategies in various industry segments. Sandy works alongside both corporations and private individuals in the area of tax and succession planning concerning wealth management, tax-driven reorganizations, and transition or exit strategies. In addition to serving an extensive client base, he acts as a point person for the firm’s national and international relationships. Outside the office, Sandy has worked alongside a range of charitable, community and volunteer organizations, and serves as a director of several private companies.
