Sheryl Lynn Tan Bio

Sheryl Lynn Tan is a partner in the Sacramento office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the Corporate and Securities & Corporate Finance Practices. Originally from Singapore, Sheryl earned her J.D. from UC Davis School of Law and was admitted to the California Bar in 2019. While in law school, Sheryl primarily focused on areas in corporate and tax law, completing both the Business Law and Tax certificate programs. Sheryl also graduated from St. Mary's College of California, magna cum laude, with a B.A. in Politics. Prior to joining Lewis Brisbois, Sheryl worked for a small firm in Sacramento focusing primarily on corporate and intellectual property law. Sheryl assisted with diverse corporate matters for clients, including the incorporation of business entities in California, private securities transactions and trademark rights. During her free time, Sheryl enjoys baking and cooking local Singaporean dishes, watching foreign-language musicals and keeping up with the e-sports scene. Sheryl is proficient in Chinese (Mandarin) and also speaks conversational Japanese.
