Kenneth J. Joyce is a partner in the Fort Lauderdale office of Lewis Brisbois and Co-Chair of the firm’s Complex Business & Commercial Litigation Practice. Mr. Joyce is an accomplished trial attorney with over 25 years of litigation experience representing entities and individuals in high stakes business litigation. He has represented clients in federal and state litigation in a wide range of industries throughout Florida and the United States. Mr. Joyce also serves as outside corporate counsel to several organizations providing assistance with risk management, employment, internal & corporate investigations and compliance. He has extensive experience in handling contract disputes, claims of fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, business torts, shareholder and partner disputes, trademark and trade secret litigation, marine industry matters and the defense of employment claims. Mr. Joyce is rated AV Preeminent ® by Martindale Hubbell, the highest peer rating standard. Florida Trend magazine’s Florida Legal Elite™ and Florida Super Lawyers have repeatedly recognized him in the area of business litigation, and since 2016 he has been named to The Top 100 Miami Super Lawyers every year. He is immediate past Chair of the Florida Supreme Court’s Professionalism Panel for the 17th Circuit, and he is the Central District elected member of the Board of Directors of the Broward County Bar Association. Mr. Joyce is a current board member and past President of the Broward Inn of Court, past Chair of the Florida Bar Statewide Advertising Committee and current member of the Constitutional Judiciary Committee. He has served as a board member for the Children’s Diagnostic & Treatment Center, the Ann Storck Center and the City of Coral Springs Board of Adjustment.
