Louis Kaplan concentrates on real estate financing, acquisition and sale, leasing and 1031 tax-deferred exchanges. In addition, Mr. Kaplan works on a broad range of business transactions. Mr. Kaplan’s clients include landlords, tenants, buyers and sellers, and large and small businesses. He also represents a broad range of clients in the real estate, financing and service fields including banks, mortgage lenders, real estate brokers, title insurance companies, escrow companies and real estate developers and investors. Other clients include manufacturers in the fields of electronics, cosmetics, and industrial products. In addition, Mr. Kaplan guides clients through the formation of corporations, limited liability companies and partnerships in connection with real estate and/or business acquisitions and any subsequent corporate maintenance related to those entities. Mr. Kaplan also has expertise in the preparation and negotiation of Non-Disclosure Agreements, Sales Agreements, Distributor Agreements, and other business documents.
