Lim Francis Bio

Lim Francis is a Partner in the Corporate department. Francis graduated from Kings College, University of London in 1997 and obtained a Graduate Diploma in Singapore Law with Merit from the National University of Singapore in 1998. He was ranked in the top 10 percentile at the Singapore Practice Law Course conducted by the Board of Legal Education and was called to the Singapore bar in 1999. Francis joined Lee & Lee in 2001 as an Associate and became a Partner in 2007. Francis practises in the area of corporate and commercial law including goods and/or equipment distributorships, agencies, sale and purchase, leasing, imports and exports and service agreements. Francis also assists foreign corporations with the establishment of business entities in Singapore and advises on the sale and purchase of shares and assets, joint ventures, shareholders’ agreements, mergers and acquisitions, employment matters and derivatives transactions. Francis also practices in the area of personal data privacy compliance and has conducted various talks and seminars and assisted various clients on compliance issues under the Personal Data Protection Act 2012.
