Bio

For assistance with real estate transaction or family business dispute resolution, Glenn Frank is the attorney to call. Glenn provides creative solutions to difficult problems to help his clients reach optimal outcomes. Described as a no-nonsense and business oriented attorney, Glenn has earned the trust of his clients and the respect of opposing attorneys. In his real estate practice, Glenn addresses all client needs relating to acquisition, development, investment, financing, and divestiture of real estate projects including, management, and leasing of office buildings or other major facilities, site acquisition, permitting, and mergers. His practice provides practical and innovative solutions for those in the real estate industry as partners, investors, and lenders. Clients include developers, banks, insurance companies, and other construction and permanent lenders in connection with real estate projects. Glenn’s practice covers a wide array of transactions including: acquisition financing, asset-based financing, debt and balance sheet restructuring, mezzanine financing, structured and specialized finance products. Glenn also represents individuals and family businesses with a broad range of inter-family conflicts, trust disputes and succession problems (including issues introduced by forced heirship). His practice involves resolution through litigation, though he believes it is rarely in a family's interest to have its private conflicts dragged into the public arena. He strives to do all he can to resolve disputes via alternative routes such as mediation, in order to reach a satisfactory outcome while maintaining discretion and confidentiality. Glenn represents family members, settlers, protectors, enforcers, trustees, directors of family companies and beneficiaries. Glenn served as State Counsel, Massachusetts for the Mondale/Ferraro Presidential Campaign. Glenn has also been Manager of the Super 88 Charitable Trust and Counsel to the Cape AIDS Ministry. Glenn is also a successful author, having published Abe Gilman’s Ending in October 2006 (a chapter of which won the Bruce Rossely Award for Best New Voice, and which was also nominated for the Ribalo Award and the Samuel Goldberg & Sons Award for new fiction).
