Jenifer Smith advises private and public companies and venture capital and private equity funds on a full range of corporate transactions. An experienced and versatile practitioner, Ms. Smith delivers trusted counsel to boards of directors, management teams, venture capital and private equity firms, and investment banks in connection with their key business, legal, and strategic issues. She brings experience across an array of industries, including technology, life sciences, restaurant and hospitality, and consumer packaged goods. Ms. Smith’s professional recognitions include being named by The Deal as a 2020 Top Women in Dealmaking. The annual list features US women attorneys who are making a significant difference in the corporate world and shattering the glass ceiling in M&A transactions. She currently serves as a Board Member of Beam, an Austin nonprofit focused on advancing women entrepreneurs, and as the Vice Chairman of the Board for Junior Achievement of Central Texas.
