Christian Word is a partner in the Litigation & Trial Department of Latham & Watkins' Washington, D.C. office, a member of the Securities Litigation & Professional Liability Practice, and a member of the firm's Ethics Committee. He represents major issuers, directors, officers, and other individuals in federal and state court, and in investigations by the SEC, the Department of Justice, and state governmental authorities concerning potential violations of the securities laws and corporate laws. Mr. Word has published several articles on a wide range of securities law issues and is a frequent speaker on such topics.
