Since joining LAMARTINE CONSEIL in 2019, Lionel Hanachowicz has been working alongside companies and their managers facing economic, legal or financial difficulties, as well as their creditors or buyers. A former Chairman of the Commission des juristes de banques de la place Rhône-Alpes and a former judge at Lyon Commercial Court, he also teaches credit law and insolvency law at the Law Faculty at Lyon University. His multiple experiences soon led him to specialise in banking litigation, both for debt recovery and liability cases, and then to turn to cases involving insolvency. He has been featured in the American legal review BEST LAWYERS in “Insolvency & Reorganization Law” and “Litigation” since 2019, and he was awarded “Lawyer of the year” in Lyon in June 2023.
