Tom Hugo Ottesen Bio

Tom Hugo Ottesen Heads Kvale’s restructuring, insolvency and investigation team. He has particular experience in (re)financing, credit security, credit recovery, insolvency and restructuring of hard pressed companies. He is also an experienced arbitrator and is occasionally appointed as arbitrator in insolvency-related disputes. Ottesen is frequently appointed as bankruptcy administrator by Oslo Bankruptcy Court and is appointed as administrator in a number of the largest bankruptcies in Norway each year. Ottesen holds several directorships. He regularly lectures and participates in panel discussions on key emerging areas of the law in bankruptcy, restructuring & insolvency. He holds a law degree from the University of Oslo and is ranked as a leading lawyer within his fields of competence, both by Legal 500 and Chambers.
