Stine D. Snertingdalen is specialized in banking and finance, as well as restructuring and insolvency. She assists financial institutions in their effort to minimize their loss in problem cases, and in negotiating and drafting national and international credit agreements, intercreditor agreements and security documentation. Snertingdalen furthermore assists companies and advices board members in the restructuring and refinancing of the businesses. She is regularly appointed as administrator/trustee of bankruptcy estates. Snertingdalen is in this way experienced in looking at a situation from the angles of the different parties affected when a company encounters economic problems. Snertingdalen is appointed by the Justice Department as member of the Norwegian Advisory Council of Bankruptcy, and was one out of four lawyers in the reference group working towards possible changes in the debt negotiation regulations in the Bankruptcy Act. She is a member of the International Insolvency Institute. Snertingdalen also works with investigations and has i.a. been the leader of the investigation of financial misconducts in the municipally owned company, Oslo Vei AS. She holds lectures at a regular basis for Center for Continuing Legal Education (Juristenes Utdanningssenter), finance institutions and auditors.
