Dan Gutierrez Bio

Dan Gutierrez is a partner at Kunzler Bean & Adamson, where his practice focuses representing venture capital and private equity firms as well as mezzanine debt lenders. Dan also assists private companies with general corporate matters, fundraising, executive employment and acquisitions. Dan’s clients span a variety of industries, including the software/SAAS, wireless hardware, cleantech, fintech, life science, healthcare and medical device industries. Dan has been involved with a number of start-up focused organizations in San Diego, including Startup Leadership Program, Evonexus, and the Founder’s Institute. Dan attended undergrad at the University of California, San Diego where he double majored in Cognitive Science (specialization in Human Computer Interaction) and Economics (specialization in Management Science). Dan attended law school at the University of Chicago. Prior to KB&A, Dan was formerly a senior attorney at Cooley LLP.
