Bio

Jakob Hans Johansen works primarily with business transfers and investments (M&A), private equity and corporate law matters. He advises both companies and financial investors in connection with transactions in Denmark and abroad. Jakob advises buyers and sellers of companies from the initial structuring of the process, through due diligence to the preparation and negotiation of transaction documentation. He has a particular focus on private equity funds' investments and has helped a number of leading Nordic and international funds with purchases, divestments and co-investments. In recent years, Jakob has been involved in a large number of cases where he has helped Danish clients with transactions outside Denmark. Here he has contributed to value-creating solutions for the clients by combining his international outlook with his expertise and clear understanding of the client's business and goals. Jakob has particular experience in structuring the legal relationships in relation to joint ventures, partnerships and other strategic alliances in Denmark and abroad. In addition, Jakob is responsible for Kromann Reumert's London office, which has given him both a large international network and broad international experience.
