Elisia Klinka provides strategic and objective-focused advice and counsel to clients on a broad array of complex corporate, financial and securities transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity and joint venture investments, securities offerings, and financings. Elisia’s work spans the entire life cycle of the transaction, beginning with strategizing and negotiating critical deal terms and drafting key agreements and documents, through collaborating with other lawyers on cross-functional deal teams and overseeing due diligence, to enabling seamless communication between principals and advisors, and facilitating successful closings. Many of her transactions have made headlines in the business, industry and legal media. Elisia also advises on issues related to private equity fund formation and operation, and provides guidance on corporate governance and regulatory issues. In addition to her corporate work, Elisia commits significant time to pro bono legal services, including handling political asylum petitions, disabled veteran claims and nonprofit corporate governance matters.
