Joey Chau is a corporate partner in the Firm’s Hong Kong office. Joey joined Kirkland in 2011, has been a partner since 2014 and was selected by China Business Law Journal (2021–2022) as one of the “A-List China’s Elite Lawyers”. Joey is also recognised by IFLR1000 as a “Notable Practitioner” and by Chambers Greater China as a “Up and Coming” lawyer for M&A and private equity. According to Chambers Greater China 2023, Joey “has extensive experience handling corporate mandates, including M&A, privatisation, joint ventures and leveraged buyouts”.
