Brittany Summers concentrates her practice in corporate and banking transactions and regulatory law. Her practice includes representation of the world’s largest telecommunications holding company in various business transactions. Prior to joining the firm, Brittany worked in the Atlanta, Georgia office of an international law firm in its corporate practice. Her private practice experience includes a wide range of general corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and corporate finance. Previously, Brittany worked as Associate General Counsel for InComm in Atlanta, Georgia where she provided counseling for domestic financial services products and operations, including regarding the Bank Secrecy Act, FinCEN’s Prepaid Access Rule, the Durbin Amendment, the CARD Act, the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, CFPB Remittance Rule, CAN-SPAM, UDAAP issues, card network rules, corporate governance, anti-money laudering and fraud prevention, and state laws and regulations regarding money transmission, gift cards, escheatment, privacy and data protection. She has extensive international financial services experience. During law school, Brittany served as Executive Articles Editor and a member of the Editorial Board of the Georgia Law Review.
