Suhana Islam Murshedd is a Partner in the Corporate and Commercial Practice Group in the Kolkata office. Suhana has over 10 years of experience as a corporate lawyer and specialises in mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments and strategic alliances. Suhana advises on all aspects of Indian corporate and commercial laws including Indian exchange control regulations and information technology laws. Her work experience in mergers and acquisitions and private equity has spanned over several sectors such as manufacturing, retail, information technology (IT) and IT enabled services, speciality chemicals and F&B. As part of the Firm’s pro-bono initiative, Suhana regularly participates in legal clinics for start-ups hosted by globally recognised entrepreneur groups and start-up incubation centres in Kolkata.
