Joseph Kim is a property and business law expert. He specialises in property law and is regularly engaged in property acquisition, divestment and leasing matters. Joseph is also experienced in commercial matters including business acquisitions, refinance and structuring for SMEs including national retailers. Joseph is fluent in Korean and currently assists many Korean speaking clients with a range of legal requirements. Joseph’s property experience includes acting for an NZX50 listed company in relation to its property development, sale and leaseback arrangements and commercial leasing matters, acting for land developers on multi-staged property developments and advising on all aspects of property acquisitions, disposals, developments and subdivisions. Joseph’s business law experience includes advising on shareholder buy-outs, advising on corporate structuring/restructuring, CCCFA and non-CCCFA loans and securitisations, acting for a SaaS company and advising on Commerce Commission inquiries and investigations in relation to compliance with the Fair Trading Act and the CCCFA.
