John practices in the areas of Banking (insolvency law, debt recovery), Real Estate (mortgages), Estate Planning and Business Law. His reputation has been built on an an ability to formulate practical business solutions and he has been advising many of his clients for over thirty years. Outside of the office, John pursues a number of interests including skiing, boating, home renovation projects and chasing after a growing number of grandchildren. Taking up golf is on hold until he retires years from now. John graduated from the University of British Columbia and Ottawa University in 1970 with an LL.B. He later graduated from Osgoode Hall in 1972 as Barrister-at-Law and co-founded Hamilton | Appotive in 1977.
