Peter Herman Bio

Peter R. Herman is a partner in the Firm’s Corporate and Securities Practice Group, and advises clients on a broad array of corporate transactions including securities offerings, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and start-ups. Mr. Herman has represented both public companies and underwriters in public offerings of debt and equity securities, including large initial public offerings and private placements. Mr. Herman also has extensive experience advising insurance and reinsurance companies, including having worked on some of the largest insurance company IPO’s. In the mergers and acquisitions arena, Mr. Herman has represented both buyers and sellers in public and private transactions. Such transactions have included mergers, stock purchases and asset purchases in both domestic and cross-border transactions. Mr. Herman is routinely involved with the formation, organization, and governance of corporations, partnerships, and limited liability companies, including the structuring and financing of start-up companies. Mr. Herman also provides general representation to public companies with respect to regulatory compliance under securities laws and marketplace rules.
