Henry Wang is a partner in the firm’s Beijing office. He has 20 years of experience in advising top-tier domestic and multinational corporations, financial institutions, and private investors in the full range of corporate matters involving China. He focuses on structuring domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance transactions, joint ventures and wholly foreign-owned entities, and licensing agreements and commercial contracts. Since 2008, Henry has advised tier-one asset managers such as Morgan Stanley, JP Morgan, PIMCO, Capital Group, Vanguard, Legg Mason, Aberdeen, Putnam, MFS, and Manulife on QFII, QDII, QDLP, JV fund management company, forming WFOE, and other market opportunities in China. Henry was ranked a leading lawyer for Corporate/M&A in the Chambers and Partners 2012 edition, which noted that he is "particularly knowledgeable on the key issues that potentially affect US companies, when it comes to inbound transactions into the PRC." He has also been listed for his work in Corporate and M&A in The Legal 500 (Asia), which noted in its 2010 edition that he is "particularly excellent--he provides timely, articulate counsel that advances transactions in keeping with the business goals."
