Liu Yongzhao Bio

Liu Yongzhao joined JunHe in April 2004 and has been practicing for over ten years. Before joining JunHe, Mr. Liu worked at the China National Petroleum Corporation. Mr. Liu specializes in areas of M&A, banking and finance, onshore and offshore listings, private equity funds and foreign direct investment. Mr. Liu has been representing domestic and foreign clients in various M&A transactions and has accumulated extensive experience from M&A deals in numerous industries. He is capable of providing comprehensive legal support ranging from due diligence to analysis of deal structures, and from documentation to negotiation. Mr. Liu also has an excellent track record in area of banking and finance. He has extensive experiences in deals of loans, project financing, trust and assets management; and his clients include China Merchant Bank, Ping An Bank, Pudong Development Bank, HSBC, Hang Sang Bank and Credit Suisse. Mr. Liu also assisted in the establishment of WeBank and OneBank, two out of a dozen of the existing privately-owned banks. Other than M&A and banking and finance, Mr. Liu has also participated in many onshore and offshore listing deals, most notably the H Shares IPO of ZTE (the first H Shares IPO of an A Share listing company) and the H Shares IPO of China Merchant Bank (the first H Shares IPO of an A Share listing bank).
