Joe Wan joined JunHe in July 2011. He practiced at a local law firm in Guangzhou from 2006 to 2011. Mr. Wan has acted as PRC counsel for either the issuer or the underwriter in many domestic and overseas IPOs and has been deeply involved in planning and managing M&As, restructurings, financing and investment projects for domestic and international clients involving the industries of real estate, infrastructure, petroleum, mining, banking, pharmaceuticals, telecommunication, electricity, cable television, software, online-game, media, logistics, trading, wholesale & retail and traditional manufactures. He has won the "Best Deal in Guangzhou" award in 2010, 2011, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2019. In 2012, the Guangzhou Bar Association and the Guangzhou Bureau of Justice named him the "Excellent Young Lawyer of the Year 2009-2011". In 2016, the Guangzhou Bar Association named him the "Excellent Lawyer of the Year 2012-2015". In 2017, he was awarded the " Guangdong Province Excellent Lawyer of the Year 2012-2016 " and the "Guangdong Province International legal Professionals " by Guangdong Bar Association.In 2017, he was awarded the " Guangdong Province Excellent Lawyer of the Year 2012-2016 " by Guangdong Bar Association.He was named one of the "National Thousand Leading Lawyers Engaged in Foreign Business" by the Ministry of Justice of PRC in 2018.
