Before returning to JunHe in 2011, Ji Han (Jasson) worked with Simmons & Simmons in London and Hong Kong as an associate, consultant and partner (1995 to 2009) and Weil Gotshal & Manges, LLP as partner (November 2009 to June 2011). Jasson has represented leading multi-nationals, leading Chinese state-owned enterprises as well as Chinese private companies in M&A transactions (including inbound and outbound investments and acquisitions), IPOs in Hong Kong and complex commercial deals. He has extensive transactional experience in relation to industries such as energy, telecommunications, finance and consumer products manufacturing and distribution. The important clients he has represented include Chinalco, Hang Lung Properties, Datang International Power Generation Corporation, Sinopec, China Mobile, China Telecom, CNAF, AVIC, China Resources, Qatar Petroleum, Roca, Swire Pacific and Swire Beverages, and EG Capital. His capital market experiences include the Hong Kong IPOs of Sinopec, AviChina, Times Electrical and Centron Telecommunications. Jasson Han was ranked as “leading lawyer” by Chambers Asia 2009, 2010 and 2011 in mainland and HK corporate/M&A areas.
