Since joining JunHe in 2002, Deng Liang has focused on foreign direct investments, mergers and acquisitions, private equity financing, overseas listings and general corporate matters. She serves clients from various industries such as manufacturing, retail, telecom, insurance, financial leasing, energy, infrastructure and real estate. Ms. Deng has represented a number of domestic and multinational companies, leading investment banks and PEs in their investment and acquisition transactions in China, and is particularly experienced in designing complicated deal structures as well as drafting and negotiating transaction documents. Ms. Deng has vast experience in the insurance sector and is the key partner of the insurance practice group at JunHe. The insurance-related services Ms. Deng provides includes daily corporate matters, the establishment of new insurance companies, the acquisition of insurance companies, compliance, the utilization of insurance capital and the issuance of insurance capital management products.. Ms. Deng’s main clients include China Life, NCI, Taikang, PICC, Ping’an, China Re, Swiss Re, and AIA. Ms. Deng was named as one of the Leading Lawyers in the insurance sector in Chambers Asia Pacific Guide 2014, 2015 and 2016. She is a member of the Legal and Compliance Professional Committee of the Insurance Asset Management Association of China. “PICC Investment Holding Company Limited – Changcheng Guoxing Financial Leasing Project Asset-Back Scheme,” where Ms. Deng acted as the legal counsel, was awarded second prize in the “First Design Contest of Creative Insurance Assets Management Products” held by the Insurance Asset Management Association of China.
