Bai Tao is a partner currently practicing in the Beijing Office and Tianjin Office. Prior to joining JunHe, Ms. Bai practiced with C&C Law Offices in Beijing from 1989 to 1992. Between 1992 and 2002, she was one of the founding partners of the Commerce & Finance Law Offices. Ms. Bai joined JunHe in 2002 as a partner. Ms. Bai has provided comprehensive legal services to many international clients from U.S.A., Japan and Europe, including multinational corporations and international organizations, as well as large enterprises and trade organizations of China, in the fields of IP protection, anti-dumping, M&A, project financing, IPOs, and litigation, arbitration and administrative actions. Ms. Bai’s legal serves clients in industries such as manufacturing, transportation, communications, finance, entertainment and real estate. In the course of her practice, Ms. Bai has devoted herself to business development and in-depth research in the field of IP protection and has accumulated a wealth of experience in the trademark, patent and unfair competition areas. Ms. Bai has successfully built up IP legal protection systems for many clients and helped clients solved IP-related disputes. Ms. Bai has also been invited to give lectures at many seminars in and outside China about the IP protection system and practice in China. Ms. Bai has been appointed with important positions in the Beijing Intellectual Property Protection Association and the IP Committee of the Asia-Pacific Lawyer Association. Ms. Bai has been awarded Lawyer of The Year by the Asia-Pacific Law for many consecutive years ever since 1998 and recently in 2016 was granted the Outstanding and Lifetime Achievement for Asia Women in Business Law by Euromoney Legal Media Group.
