Jonathan Coleman has been representing individual and class claimants in complex financial disputes since 1988 and has been an attorney at Johnson Pope since 1997. He has litigated in a variety of state and federal courts at the trial and appellate level, and has experience in various arbitration fora, including the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) and the American Arbitration Association (AAA). Jonathan, who holds U.S. and E.E.C. citizenship, received his B.A. in French with cum laude honors following study in Paris at the Institut d’Etudes Européennes and the Université de Paris-IV (Sorbonne). He has served as an instructor in the departments of French Language and European History at the University of North Carolina. In addition to practicing law, he is an adjunct faculty member (2007– ) in Securities Law at St. Petersburg College.
