Alex O’Leary Bio

Alex is a Partner in the Corporate and Commercial team at JMW, having joined in November 2022. Alex advises clients in a number of sectors (including IT, marketing agencies, logistics, construction, healthcare and professional services) but has developed a particular specialism for advising property developers on the sale or purchase of special purpose (SPV) property holding companies. Alex regularly advises search funds (otherwise known as entrepreneurs through acquisition) at the various stages of their journey, including raising funds (search and acquisition rounds) and advising on their acquisitions and exits. Alex graduated from the University of Brighton before training and qualifying at a boutique corporate firm in London’s West End. Alex joined JMW from a large regional practice. Outside of work, Alex is a keen sportsman and enjoys playing and watching most sports, including football, rugby, tennis and cricket. Aside from sports, Alex enjoys reading, travelling and spending time with his friends and family.
